The Port of Corpus Christi is proud to offer internship opportunities for students across the Coastal Bend and nationwide through its Navig8 Internship Program, providing interns with opportunities for learning, professional growth and development, and real-life work experience. Interns will have the opportunity to apply for paid positions within their major areas of study or fields of interest and, if accepted, work closely with Port of Corpus Christi staff to gain practical experience and insights into their future career goals.
Student participants in the PCCA Navig8 Internship Program will connect classroom theory to workplace reality, while building skills in communication, networking, interviewing, time management, writing, business etiquette, presentation and research skills. At the conclusion of the internship program, participants will develop and deliver a video presentation about their experience to Port executive leadership, directors, managers and staff, which can serve as the beginning of a virtual portfolio that they will be able to share with future employers as they advance in their careers.
Participants must have the ability to work a maximum of 25 hours per week within an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, work week.
