Our interns are given an opportunity to create a Student Internship Program Portfolio. This project will support the student in building networking, communication, writing, interviewing, time management, presentation, business etiquette, and research skills.
The portfolio the student creates will be an organized collection of documents that demonstrates their work history, skills, and talents. It is designed to support their academic knowledge with tangible work produced providing an added advantage over other job seekers who may have education and experience but no representation of the style and quality of their work.
Interns will be provided with guidance and suggestions for successfully producing their portfolio. They will also be asked to give a short presentation of the culmination of their work at the Port of Corpus Christi in front of their peers and other Port staff.
