Corpus Christi, TX, USA – On June 29, 2018, The Port of Corpus Christi will welcome the call of the TS (Training Ship) Kennedy and her crew, the Texas A&M Maritime Academy’s cadets. It is the first time in 12 years that the entire academy sailed together on a single vessel. The voyage began in May, embarking from Buzzards Bay MA, and will call at several ports along the U.S. East and Central Coast.
“This is a momentous time in our academy’s history,” said Texas A&M Galveston’s Chief Operating Officer, Col. Michael E. Fossum. “For the first time in over a decade our students and faculty will learn and train as a cohesive unit.”
