Port of Corpus Christi to hold Annual Tree for All in Corpus Christi, Portland

Corpus Christi, TX, USA – The Port of Corpus Christi, in partnership with NuStar, will hold the annual “A Tree for All” donation event to help families in need celebrate the holiday season with their loved ones. At two different locations, Port Energy Crew employee volunteers will distribute 300 Christmas trees — along with tree stands and ornaments — to families nominated by Communities in Schools, various Coastal Bend campuses, Foster Angels and Mission 9-1-1.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 “A Tree for All” has been modified to a drive-thru format to be held in Portland and Corpus Christi. Volunteers will don personal protective equipment and enforce social distancing to ensure public safety. Details are below:

The event is part of the Port of Corpus Christi’s continued commitment to supporting Coastal Bend communities as the region navigates the COVID-19 pandemic as safely as possible.

Special visits from POCCA the Pelican and Santa Claus are planned; however, in compliance with social distancing standards, group photos will be discouraged.
