Port CEO Provides Testimony to Texas Senate Committee on Transportation
Mar 01, 2018
Port Corpus Christi CEO, Sean Strawbridge provided testimony before the Texas Senate Committee on Transportation in Austin. Covering the repeal of the U.S. export ban, a precursor to the more than $6 billion of crude oil the port has now shipped to world markets; more than $50 billion in privately funded industrial investment in our region; and the vital life-blood of the port, the Corpus Christi Ship Channel and its 54’ dredge project – Sean makes the case to the Texas Legislature for critical port infrastructure investment funding.
Port Corpus Christi thanks the Committee for the opportunity with special regards to Transportation Committee member, Senator, Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa.
