Mexico is one of the most progressive countries in the world regarding trade. Moreover, Mexico opened its doors to foreign investment when it reformed its constitution to enhance its energy/hydrocarbons sector in 2014. To maintain its competitive advantage on the supply chain, Mexico has prioritized transportation infrastructure creating a robust logistics network. This approach addresses both the benefits of a healthy manufacturing economy and continuance of prosperity in its industrial sector.
Port Corpus Christi affords one of the closest deep-water port connections by way of rail and highway through the industrial corridor connecting through the international crossing at Laredo to Monterrey, Mexico.
