Port Statement on Former Sherwin Alumina Property Auction

Corpus Christi, TX, USA – All assets of the former Sherwin Alumina plant located in San Patricio County, Texas along the La Quinta Ship Channel at Port Corpus Christi were auctioned today in New York.
The Port Corpus Christi Authority placed an offer for some of the Sherwin assets in an effort to support port operations at the facility, and the Port will continue to participate in the auction process as outlined in the bankruptcy filings and approved by the Court.
