Port of Corpus Christi hold 24th Annual Tree for All in Corpus Christi, Portland

Corpus Christi, TX, USA – The Port of Corpus Christi, in partnership with NuStar Energy, held the 24th annual “A Tree for All” event to help families in need celebrate the holiday season with their loved ones. At two different locations, Port Energy Crew employee volunteers distributed 300 Christmas trees — along with tree stands and ornaments — to families selected by Communities in Schools, various Coastal Bend school campuses and Mission 9-1-1.
In 2020, the event was converted to a drive-thru format due to the pervasive COVID-19 pandemic. Though the regional threat of the pandemic has declined significantly, the collaborating entities kept the drive-thru format in place for the 2021 “A Tree for All,” which was held at locations in Corpus Christi and Portland. Those picking up trees and accompaniments were asked to remain in their vehicles while volunteers approached to assist them. Additional details are below:

The events were part of the Port of Corpus Christi’s continued commitment to supporting Coastal Bend communities.
