Tropical Storm Beryl Impact to the Port: Hurricane Readiness Condition 1 Continues

Corpus Christi, TX, USA – The Port of Corpus Christi Hurricane Readiness Status remains at Hurricane Readiness Level 1 (High Readiness), in accordance with its 2024 Hurricane Readiness Plan. The Port continues to monitor possible impact scenarios for Tropical Storm Beryl in and around the Coastal Bend region.

The Port of Corpus Christi Emergency Operations Center is fully activated and will remain activated throughout the duration of the weather event.

All Port of Corpus Christi users shall immediately adhere to the requirements and recommendations set forth in U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) 59-24 and forthcoming MSIBs.

The USCG Captain of Sector Port Corpus Christi (CoTP) has set Port Condition Zulu from the Colorado Locks to the U.S. Mexico border, including the Port of Corpus Christi, effective 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Under this condition, all vessel movement and cargo operations are restricted.
